By combining the extensive anesthesia-specific coding, compliance, and insurance follow-up knowledge provided by MedOasis with athenaCollector®, athenahealth’s cloud-based practice management and medical billing offering, the market will gain access to a turnkey anesthesia billing solution complete with payor-specific rules that maximize first-pass claims adjudication for accelerated cash flow. This solution also addresses the payor-specific modifier complexities of anesthesia practices that employ CRNAS and share the same tax ID.
